Hay on Wine – here we come!
It’s that time again when Hannibal dusts off his camping gear and heads to the rolling hills of the Herefordshire countryside. Yup, once again the Hay Literary Festival descends upon the tiny but perfectly formed village of Hay on Wye. With one foot in England and one foot in Wales, the show attracts nationals from all walks of life, as well as pulling in a massive international following. As exhibitors at the show, we’ll have ample wine to reflect that following.
This will be the festival’s 31st anniversary and whilst it’s only our second year exhibiting, we already feel part of the family. Drawing on the wonders of the book world, our very own Jude will be cheekily conjuring up her own unique wine label designs to celebrate the very best of authors and publishers new and old. And of course, the ‘tech-ie’ equipment will be on hand for customers wishing to design their very own personalised wine on the spot. (Did you know, our literary-themed wines were the talk of the show last year!)
We’ll keep you informed with plenty of photos of all of our activity throughout the event, but seeing is truly believing, so why not come along to one of the best events of the year? It’s FREE, yes free to enter and it’s even suitable for the kids. All you pay for is the talks you wish to listen to.
We plan to have 40 wines available to taste throughout the 11 day event (yes 11 days!), so plenty of opportunity to come along and sample. What better way to pass away the time with a jolly good book in one hand and an award-winning wine from Hannibal Brown’s range in the other!
Starts 24th May to 3rd June. To find out more, call us on 020 3876 8008 or email [email protected]
