Akurra Unoaked Chardonnay 2020

With such a depth of ripe tropicality, there is no need for this wine to have any oak treatment.  The grapes are harvested in the cool of night and is fresh as a daisy (thanks to some really clever wine-making).  Akurra must be known for its incredible depth of character given its meagre price.

What is Akurra?  Also known as the rainbow serpent and the snake deity of the Aboriginal people, Akurra is believed to bring water and nourishment to the land and crops.
