Upon meeting Martin Arndorfer, we realised instantly that his exciting personality would translate into his wines – and boy it did! Fresh and appealing yet beautifully rich and flavoursome with plenty of intrigue. He and his wife Anna go out of their way, pushing the boundaries of ‘plain norm’ to something memorable. If you want your curiosity aroused, then give this a whirl.
Always a pleasing alternative to Sauvignon Blancs, Gruner tends towards a slightly less acidic style (or one that isn’t quite so racey).
