Our two favourite reds in a Hannibal Brown gift pack with artisan cheese.
Bodegas Urbina Rioja 2000:
Four generations of winemaking have been passed down through the family, into the safe hands of Pedro Urbina. His 2000 Seleccion is a wonderful developed and rich, old Rioja. Produced as a Crianza (so less time in oak than the Reserva), there is an attractive dried fruitiness about this wine. It’s drinking perfectly now and simply requires a great food pairing.
Casas del Bosque Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva:
The good folk of Casas del Bosque strive for perfection in everything they do. Indeed, they have just been named amongst the Top 50 winery destinations to visit worldwide. They also won Best Winery in Chile for 2 years in a row (IWSC).
