When it comes to Casas del Bosque, it’s all about the rich, peppery, deep black fruit character. Medium to full-bodied, the fruit character and oak barrel ageing combine beautifully to produce a wine with soft, integrated tannins and a long, velvety finish. Deep flavours are reminiscent of black cherry, pepper and menthol and have to be savoured to be believed. This Carmenere is a real head turner. Casas del Bosque’s philosophy is quality not quantity – the best employees, who love their jobs, the purest fruit and the healthiest vines. A winning combo. This latest 2019 vintage is every bit as good as the preceding vintages. All it requires is a little aeration to really release those aromas and flavours.
