Fresh, floral and apple crisp with a pleasant finish of toasted almond and a hint of sage. This delicious Gavi from the Bergaglio family winery is indicative of just how good Italian wines can be. Do not compare with mass-produced you-know-what coming out of Italy! Gavi (made from the Cortese grape) is soft and supple with a delicate acidity that doesn’t grate. Smooth, exquisitely elegant and a joy to savour.
