‘Champagne’ from Robertson, South Africa – produced using the same method as Champagne, in South Africa they call this ‘Cap Classique’. 100% Chardonnay, this elegant bubbly gives a richness like a mature vintage Champagne, a result of its 36 months on the lees. Zippy but also rich and creamy.
So much more interesting and refined than Prosecco, but without the price tag of Champagne. It’s well worth a shot and punches well above its modest price tag.
