Minervois Le Rouge de L’Azerolle Chateau Mirausse

A blend of Cinsault, Syrah and Grenache from 50 year old vines.  Cassis, blueberries and spice on the nose, with peppery flavours of black and red fruits, vanilla and a touch of wild herb – this wine punches well above its’ price point. You can also enjoy excellent tannins and balanced acidity with a long finish.

Badens is a village to the east of Carcassonne in the Minervois region of the Languedoc and Raymond Julien is a grower to watch. Chalky soils, old vines and great winemaking shape the character of this wine.
