Italian producer Gianni Masciarelli is something of a legend, having proved to the rest of the world that it is possible to produce world-class red wines from the Montepulciano grape. His style of winemaking is traditional with a hint of contemporary mischievousness and this shows in the upfront yet delicate style of this wine.
Montepulciano is known for its ripe dark cherry fruit, this wine has an attractive spiciness and smoky notes which make it an excellent accompaniment to Italian food.
