If you like Prosecco but want a little bit more out of your bubbly then give Pignoletto a go.
This is an elegant, sophisticated sparkling wine, enjoyed mostly by the good folk of Bologna, the wonderful food capital of Italy. This Pignoletto has just a light sparkle (frizzante) – hence the less chunky bottle, less pressure to withstand.
Hannibal first discovered this wine in the summer of 2016 and we’ve been raving about it ever since. Move over Prosecco!
