Sophisticated and really quite understated.  Perhaps similar to the food of Sardinia – tasty, clean and without too much weight.  Gianpaolo Parpinello presides over this winery with help from his son, Paolo.  Together, they manage the property that has been in the family for over 50 years and across three generations.  The family have one objective – to produce wines characteristic of the region by marrying traditional methods with the latest technology.  This wine can perhaps stand up to a touch of fridge chilling during the warmer months, but not too much.  Other wines from Poderi Parpinello – white Vermentino Ala Blanca.
