Poderi Parpinello Vermentino ‘Ala Blanca’

Crisp, floral with an after taste of toasted almond, wild herbs and ripe fruits. Vermentino is most recently known to have originated in the Piedmont region of Northern Italy, but it is perfectly suited to the Sardinian growing conditions.
Giampaolo Parpinello presides over this super winery with help from his son, Paolo. Together, they manage the property that has been part of the family across three generations.  The family have one objective – to produce wines characteristic of the region by marrying traditional methods with the latest technology. Do not ignore this gem – it dances on your tongue and makes for a delicious and welcome alternative grape variety.
