Sokol Blosser Evolution White Lucky No 9 2020

Smack me over the head with a bowl of fruit! Tropical character, deliciously ripe, with generous flavours of nectarine and citrus, you are going to love it! A great accompaniment to spicy foods, particularly Thai and Korean cuisines. The quirky label is enough to sell the wine, not to mention the words that appear on the cork – chill, pour, sip, chill.
Evolution is all about experimenting with grapes to deliver the best wine available. The Sokol Blossers moved to Oregon in the ’70s and intentionally opted to plant a series of varieties, with a view to creating the ultimate blend. Their vineyards have always been farmed organically. Not only that, they continually scrutinise their energy efficiencies and became the first winery to achieve certification from the US’s Energy & Environmental Design body, LEED.
The Lucky No 9 white blend is likely to change with each vintage. Must be served well chilled at all times.
