When we received the call from a good customer that he wanted Hannibal Brown to manage the drinks proposition for his 50th Birthday party, we jumped at the invitation. The remit? The best wines, the best bubbly, plus a stash of beer, cider and every spirit under the sun. This was going to be a night to remember…
And boy, it was! With pool pristine and marquis beautifully erected, we arrived at the venue just as the band started their sound checks. The theme was ’70s Saturday Night Fever – and the dress-code was clear…. no dress, no entry. The guests, the band, and yours truly did not disappoint. The photos say it all!
Sacchetto Rose was the chosen bubbly, with Casas del Bosque, Edgebaston and Poderi Parpinello were the chosen wines. And as a gift, Hannibal Brown provided the Birthday boy with his very own personalised wine – nice touch Hannibal!
